ADOPT ME

Because every pet deserves a loving home.
I Care Page.png

Here at I Care 4 Your Pets, we believe every animal deserves the same love and attention you give your own. That’s why we’re proudly sponsoring a Pet of the Month in partnership with the wonderful team at Northern Rivers Animal Services (NRAS) - a local charity doing big things for animals in need!

Each month we’ll introduce you to one very special adoptable soul, share ways you can help out (even if you can’t adopt!), and keep you in the loop with what NRAS is most in need of.

Because your pets are your family, and we want to help more animals find that kind of love.

If you are not in a position to adopt, but would like to help in another way, there is a list of donation items that are needed here, and any monetary donations are warmly welcomed by the team at NRAS, which directly help them to make a difference for the animals in their care.

PET OF THE MONTH
Meet "Bernie" the Siamese Cross

BREED: Siamese Cross | AGE: 10 Years Young | PERSONALITY: Gentle, easy-going, and well mannered.

Bernie.jpg

Looking for: a calm, affectionate companion to bring warmth and peace into your home? Bernie could be the one for you.

This beautiful 10-year-old Siamese Cross is the very definition of quiet elegance. With her striking eyes, soft coat, and gentle nature, Bernie proves that love only gets better with age.

She’s a sweet, well-mannered lady who enjoys life’s simple pleasures - a sunny windowsill, soft head scratches, and the company of someone who appreciates slowing down. Bernie may not be a kitten anymore, but her heart is just as full, and her purrs are just as sweet.

Easy-going and affectionate, Bernie is the perfect match for someone seeking a mellow, loving presence in their home. She only wants for peace, kindness, and a cosy spot to call her own - and she’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and the soothing calm that only a senior cat can bring.

Could Bernie be the gentle soul you’ve been waiting for?

📍 All animals in NRAS’ care are vet checked, flea & worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed prior to their adoption.

👉 Ready to meet Bernie or learn more? Call the NRAS office on (02) 6681 1860 or click the button below to send them an email.

Can't Adopt? Consider Becoming A Foster Carer.

NRAS is always on the lookout for big-hearted locals who can offer temporary homes to pets in need. Whether it's a litter of kittens, an older dog needing TLC, or a scared soul learning to trust again - you can be their bridge to a brighter future.

Fostering is fully supported, and all vet costs and food are provided. All you need is a safe space, a little time, and a whole lotta love. Reach out directly to NRAS if you have questions!

Because while they wait for forever, you could be their now.
